Abstract

As an important part of daily life in kindergarten, area activities are indispensable. This study combined questionnaire surveys with interviews to study teachers' intervention behaviors revealed many inappropriate aspects of teachers' interventions in children's area activities: insufficient educational resources in kindergartens, with teachers focusing on "cross-sectional" methods while emphasizing "vertical" rather than "parallel" interventions; area activities focused on protecting children's safety and maintaining order and rules; teachers' problem-solving abilities were insufficient, with noticeably low attention to reading and educational areas and frequent neglect. Based on reflections on teacher involvement, targeted strategies were proposed to help teachers improve the current situation of regional activity intervention and promote the development of current kindergarten regional activities.
