A Survey on The Observation Ability of Young Children in Planting Activities

Abstract

 Planting activities refer to the process in which children interact with plants, soil, and various tools. Children continuously observe and record the growth of plants, thereby promoting the comprehensive development of their overall qualities. Planting activities are also a comprehensive task, involving many different experiences, such as quantity, measurement, space, cooperation, planning, and so on. Observation is a fundamental skill in the process of scientific inquiry. The nature corner is a playground for children's exploration. In the nature corner, children can get close to nature, experience greenery, experience the joy of harvesting and interest in inquiry, and cultivate their ability to observe and discover in natural sciences. This study will adopt literature analysis and observation methods. Starting with children's observation abilities during planting activities in natural corners, observing the purposefulness, continuity, sequence, and ability to express observation results during planting activities
